The quiet southern end of Absecon Island, with limited commercial activity, wide beaches, and a heavily residential feel. Longport is smaller and more subdued than Ventnor or Margate, with no boardwalk or large hotel district. Its appeal comes from space, quiet, and the feeling of being at the end of the island.
